Bear Creek High School

For the month of August, Bear Creek has been preparing for our Club rush on August 25th and 29th! We have released a multitude of service events such as volunteering for Animal Friends, the Southeast Asian Nightmarket, Skedaddles Taco the Town Marathon, and supporting HCA's cleanliness drive! Our club has also been planning for our first general meeting of the year, hopefully around the first week of September! Lastly, we are preparing onigiri for our fundraiser at the August DCM!

Ben Holt High School

In August, Ben Holt Key Club had a great club rush on August 12, with over 80 signups! We are preparing for our first meeting tomorrow, August 21, and are currently scheduling volunteers to help at the St. Luke’s Festival. We are also looking into long-term projects like volunteering at the Stockton Library and a park clean-up at Matt Equinoa Park. We will also be fundraising with bracelets at the August DCM!

Cesar Chavez High School

In the month of August, Cesar Chavez Key Club had an amazing club rush on 8/13 with over 90 signups and around 50 students at our first general meeting the same day. Some new service opportunities we offered for the month of August are Rooted in the Mud, Friends of the Library collaboration with SECA, CCHS Annual Blood Drive, and St. Luke's Festival Game Booth. We've also been hyping up our August DCM and our members are super excited to attend next week!

Health Careers Academy High School

In the month of August, HCA is currently working on service projects such as park clean ups and a cleanliness drive for the children's home of Stockton. We are working towards starting letters of service for health care workers at nearby hospitals. We have around 70 potential members interested in joining this upcoming year.

Lincoln High School

During the month of August, Lincoln had a recent interclub service event with HCA, we had our first general meeting with about 19 people signed in (31 counted in the room), and we JUST had our club rush crafting service event. We are preparing for club rush by making slides and graphics for meetings and are looking into more service events, especially after our club rush, which is August 28-29.

Lodi High School

In August, Lodi Key Club started strong with Club Rush, gaining 67 new members on the first day and around 100 total sign ups by the end. Our first meeting brought in about 55 members, where we introduced the basics of Key Club. We also elected our new officers, fulling up our board. Lodi KC also helped promote and participated in Lodi High's campus clean up and are now planning to volunteer at Suicide Prevention Week and the Superhero Run this September. Lodi is also planning an inter club with Cesar Chavez soon.

Middle College High School

In August, Middle College Key Club had a very successful club rush with lots of students attending the first meeting! We've released new service events ranging from the Southeast Asian Night Market to the Skedaddle Taaco the Town Marathon that members are thrilled to attend.

McNair High School

In the month of August, McNair Key Club has been busy getting ready for Club Rush for August 21st! This month, we've started helping with football concessions, including our first flag football game on August 20th, where we sold, prepared food and helped clean. We have upcoming service events like campus clean-ups, can collections, during games to earn hours and raise funds, and post-game clean-ups to support our custodians. We're also planning inter-club events soon and we will be selling brookies for this months DCM!

Saint Mary's High School

In August, St. Mary's Key Club began it's second fundraiser of the term with Davinci's meal tickets, and we made $550 so far! We are also continuing our spiritwear fundraiser from the past 2 DCM's within our own club. As for service, our club served a total of 44 hours at our Micke Grove park cleanup, and we're expecting even higher numbers this Friday at our event with the Emergency Food Bank!
 

Tokay High School

In the month of August, Tokay Key Club had their Club Rush on 8/15 and we were able to gain 145 signatures! We had our first general meeting on 8/21 where we informed members about general information, dues, and upcoming events. In the next few weeks, we will be discussing the logistics for a committee team. We are also collaborating with a new group (Connected By Ink) on campus to have a year-round service event!
 

SECA High School

In August, SECA Key Club has been working hard in preparations for the upcoming club rush and school year! In August, SECA has found service projects and collaborated with volunteering at Friends of the Library with Chavez. SECA has also been working on bringing a return on a club committee and newspaper!
